After using the diesel heater for a couple of years it has stopped working as it should be.
There are few parts that may need to change in the diesel heater
- Heater glow plug (12v or 24v)
- Fuel pump strainer (Burner screen)
- Exchanger burner gasket
- Motor gasket
Tools
- Glow plug removal tool
- You need a special tool to remove the glow plug
- Burner screen inserting tool
- To insert the burner screen to the correct position you need above tool
- Step1: Disconnect electrical connection with care
- Step2: Disconnect Fuel pump connection
- Step3: Disconnect air intake and exhaust pipe connections
- Step4: Remove the plastic casing

- Step4: Remove the glow plug using the special tool

- Step5: Remove used burner screen

- Step6: Clean the heater using a suitable wire brush
- Step7: Replace the burner screen using the inserting tool
- Step8: Replace the two gaskets
- Step9: Refit the heater parts
